If you're looking for some things to do outdoors, New River Trail State Park has you covered! They have rentals for kayaks, tubes to float the river and an abundance of trail to hike on for the day.

A gem in Southwest Virginia. Hiking, biking, horseback riding, canoe/kayak/tube rentals. Check out Foster Falls. Great location for fishing as well. The New River trail is paved and follows along the river miles and miles in either direction.

Great kayaking and fishing. They have canoe rentals and shuttles. You can bike on the fifty mile plus trail so bring your mountain bikes!
