In the mood for a small hike and learn about our local Native American ancestors? Come explore Tahquitz canyon. Approx 1 1/2 Mile hike with a gorgeous waterfall at the end where you can go in and refresh. Many famous artists such as Jim Morrison from The Doors have hiked this trail and enjoyed the waters in the waterfall.

Beautiful hiking area with seasonal waterfalls, rock art and native wildlife. It is a 1.8 mile moderate hike that can be strenuous.

This two-mile loop leads to a 50-foot waterfall tucked into Tahquitz Canyon. The falls are located within the Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians reservation, so you’ll need to pay a $12.50 admission fee. On the plus side, the fee keeps the trail impeccably maintained, unlike many of L.A.’s graffiti-filled waterfalls. Ranger-led hikes are also available.
