The Rio Grange Gorge Bridge, locally known as the (Gorge Bridge), is a steel deck arch bridge across the Rio Grande Gorge 10 miles northwest of Taos, New Mexico. Roughly 600/ft above the Rio Grande, it is the tenth highest bridge in the United States.
The Gorge is the second highest bridge on a US Highway System. Drop by here around sunset and get spectacular- once in a life-time views!
Only 2 miles away, you definitely have to stand on the Gorge Bridge and feel it shake when trucks drive over. Looking 800 feet down while that happens is optional! There is also an endless trail next to the gorge for walking or biking. You can't get lost.
Walk along the bridge to view 675 feet below to the Rio Grande where you may see kayakers and rafters. Look along the canyon walls for Big Horn Sheep, too!
