The three spires of Truro Cathedral dominate the skyline of this lovely little city. With a variety of shops, cafes, parks and local heritage, there's lots to do and explore. Every Wednesday and Saturday the farmers market takes place on the piazza at Lemon Quay offering quality local produce (including bread, cakes, fish and veggies) and crafts.

If you fancy going a little further a field, you could take a trip to Cornwall's capital. With a good variety of shops and a magnificent cathedral. No need to drive. Take a walk into Newquay town centre. Situated just before central square is Newquay bus station. The "93" Newquay to Truro generally leaves on the hour. A comprehensive bus time table will be available at Little Gem.

Truro is the county city of Cornwall , large enough to be interesting but with architecture largely untouched from the 19thC. It has a museum (great cafe'), cathedral and a wide range of independent (check the Lemon St Gallery) and familiar shops. We take the train from Pz but parking is pretty simple for drivers.
