The St. Olaf College Natural Lands are one of my favorite places to walk and contemplate nature. The lands are curated by biology faculty and include tall-grass prairie, woodland, and wetlands.

The college was built on the hill at the west part of the town with Carleton built on the east part of the town. Standing on Old Main Hill and the new science building, you can see very far. There are several trails that we used to go every year at the back of the college. Ponds and woods and wild life. Very beautiful and relaxing.
