About a 5k walk or run from your room, situated within a beautiful park offering bush walking trails, picnic tables, bbq's and bean bag chairs. Stunning panoramic views. Visit the historic signal station and enjoy a delicious meal, coffees, wines and beverages.

The signal station features a cafe with near perfect views of the Derwent River and surrounding areas. On a sunny day this is a hot spot for dog walkers and lovers of English breakfasts.

If you don't make it up Mount Wellington this is a nice alternative to see great views of Hobart. There's a lovely cafe there too

See the old signal station used to communicate between Hobart and Port Arthur. Enjoy the view of Hobart and down the river to the mouth of the Derwent at The iron Pot.
