The Astoria Column
Doporučuje 36 místních ·
Spectacular views of the Columbia River and Youngs Bay. The Astoria Column is a tower in the northwest United States, overlooking the mouth of the Columbia River on Coxcomb Hill in Astoria, Oregon. Built in 1926, the concrete and steel structure is part of a 30-acre city park.
You can see the entire town of Astoria from the top of this hill and if you walk up this circular flight of stairs to the top, the views are breathtaking!
Take the kids and burn them out climbing the stairs to the top of the Column. Fantastic views.

“One of the best small State Parks around (and there are a few!) You can: catch some waves at the beach; check out the remains of an historic ship wreck; enjoy a tranquil walk around a peaceful lake (in addition to swimming & boating); wander through a forest or enjoy a bbq! $5 daily use fee and located about 20-25 mins away.”

“They don't tend to have live music or anything, but it is pretty lively and a decent bar. They also have decent food and oddly enough donuts too.”

“They have an amazing breakfast menu, they have outdoor space for pets, and they also do a pop-up dinner menu, with some of the best dining food and cocktails in town. On Monday nights, they do a Sushi/Martini special, Tuesday nights is Margarita/Taco night, and Thursday is their 5 Buck Burger special. Their menu is unique and a foodie dream--we also love their mixed drinks here! This is our favorite place to eat for dinner. ”
