Cape Hauy is part of the iconic Three Capes Walk but can be visited as a day trip from Fortescue Bay - it's listed as one of Tasmania's "Great Short Walks". The track features some steep sections but the quality of the track cannot be matched and the destination is magnificent. It's only around 10 kilometres return but allow 4-5 hours because you won't want to rush.

Its a good walk but not too strenuous. Allow 4 hrs for the walking bit.
