The Walker House was built in the mid-1800s as a private home by Henry B. Walker who was wise enough to capitalize on all the clay in the soil in Maine and owned 3 brickyards. Now on The National Register of Historic Places, the house is located just over Portland townline so you’ll enjoy the space, quiet and safety of a family-oriented area with just minutes to the center of town.
Private tiny house situated on the Pleasant river in Windham Maine. River is stocked with brook trout and lots of bass. 15 minute canoe ride connects up with the Presumpscott river system. Canoes available. The camp is located behind the main property ~500ft down a dirt road. 4X4 is recommended or you can park at the main house and it's a 3 minute walk.
