There are 2 Barnacle Billy's in Perkins Cove. The first one you pass on the way to Perkins cove has a la carte dining and $15 parking. I would recommend going to the second option with free valet parking, food ordered at the counter, and AMAZING rum punches ordered at the table from a server. The views are awesome and the laid back ambiance is fantastic for couples or the whole family. You could get a cracked lobster or keep it affordable with a solid $7 cheeseburger.

Super family friendly place to bring large groups. Lobster, fried seafood, burgers and dogs are reasonably priced. There are picnic tables as well as bocce courts, horseshoes, darts and bean bag toss. Your kids can make friends while the adults sip on rum punches.

They serve great breakfast sandwiches on a grilled bulky roll. They have solid ice coffee, beer/wine, and any last minute provisions you may need. It's an easy place to get pizza and other family friendly food.

A local favorite! It's a warm setting with great service and a great menu. Sometime greatness comes at a cost though, so you need to get there early or wait for a table. There is room to stand behind the bar and order a drink while you wait.

Sightseeing
Not only does this cove have great dining and quaint shops and a small drawbridge (you may be asked to raise), it is the beginning of the Marginal Way (a beautiful cliff walk that leads to views of Ogunquit beach). If you go to the free valet lot of Barnacle Billy's and have lunch there, you can get away with leaving your car for a bit longer and walk the Marginal Way . It starts from the Billy's valet parking lot.

This is an awesome seacoast city about a 15 minute drive from York. There is plenty of public parking and a lot to do. Year-round there is great shopping and eating.

I believe this is the most photographed lighthouse in Maine. It is a picturesque light house. It's a reasonable walk or a short ride from Long or Short Sands beach. It sits on a little island or "nub" at the end of Cape Neddick and thats how it gets it's name.

Awesome small beach with lots to do off the sand. There is an arcade and a strip of shops offering ice cream, coffee, candy, and food. Also, York's Wild Kingdom is an easy walk from here.

This is a great place to rent a wetsuit, bodyboard, surfboard, or Stand Up Paddleboard (SUP) for your visit. I would recommend buying a legit bodyboard for yourself or your kids here. There is a huge difference between the real deal and the cheap ones for $10. There is almost no difference in price compared to larger shops or the internet and you're supporting a local business. I would highly recommend surf lessons for anyone interested. Get out there and try it, SAFELY, with an instructor.

This is a great place to bring little kids under 10 years old. It is a perfect place to see your 4 year old go on a ride, confidently, by themselves. Most of the rides are geared towards very young children, but older kids might like the super slide, arcade, scrambler, and go-karts.
