Feel the power of the great southern ocean. Remarkable cave is a less than 10 minute drive and well worth a visit to see the cave shaped like Tasmania. You can also see cape raoul and a whale going by if you are lucky!

The closest beach to Arrow Brick house and it is dog friendly for the end closest to Port Arthur (not the far end where the birds nest - there are signs). You will enjoy great views of Tasman Island from here.

Drive 20 mins to Eaglehawk Neck, check out Tasman Arch and Devils Kitchen and the walk starts from there. It is a gentle, easy walk with a wide, well maintained path (you could do it with a stroller). You will get spectacular views along the cliff tops and you may see echidnas and wildflowers. You can end at Waterfall Bay Lookout and walk back the same way and this will take about an hour. Note that there may not be any water in the waterfall at Waterfall bay.

Bring a picnic and make a day of exploring the uncrowded ruins and walking tracks. The dark history of the place lies in stark contrast to the beautiful setting with gorgeous views of the crystal blue bays in the area. It a half hour drive from Arrow Brick house.

Nice big machines that work. If you put the wash on the "colour" setting it will take about 30 minutes (as will the dryer). You can get change from the general store next door and you will need to take your own laundry powder (often there is some under the kitchen sink at Arrow Brick House)
