If you are lucky to climb on a clear sunny day and clear sky, this is the place to have the most spectacular and 360 ° view not only of the city but also of all the Alps! This award-winning building complex (the seat of the Lombard Regional Council) features a 161-metre high skyscraper with 39 floors, which until recently made it the highest building in Milan. A great place for a birds-eye view of the city, on its top you'll also see a copy of the famous Virgin Mary statue 'Madonnina,' which was placed here in 2010 to protect all Milanese from its position up-high. Tips : Admission is free and you don’t need to book in advance. "Il Forno di Via Pola," a nearby bakery, is well worth a visit. Plan to stay: 1-2 hours
