North South Lake is lovely! You can hike, swim, rent boats. They have life guards is you are worried about little ones and real sand beaches.

Wonderful hike for those who are liking flat rather than mountains. Bike and stroller friendly. Great views. Photo ops at dusk and dawn. Birding, swimming, cross country skiing and more!
