The Pheasant has a very good reputation locally. Just a few minutes drive in the car away, makes it a handy destination for food or a drink.

New modern refurbished bar boosts a selection of locally brewed cask ales which change on a regular basis and a wine list which has been carefully chosen for all tastes. Well behaved dogs are welcome in the bar area. Casterton lies within easy distance of the Lakes and the Dales and the Forest of Bowland.

All our guests, and also us, highly recommend this place. Lovely food, guest beers, gin bar and friendly staff. Booking recommended as gets very busy at peak times, eg weekends.

Lovely pub, great service , fab location and great food a little out of the way … but a great drive out and lovely ambience in the garden
