Great picnic area, historic fort, campground, and Beach, ! Tolls are required to enter. State Park Fee is $5.

Excellent place to see the Gulf of Mexico, and enjoy the beaches. There's a dog beach, and ferry to a couple of keys. Take a walk down the pier, swim at the beach, walk through the fort, go to the gift shop, or rent bikes. Heads up: the gift shop and snack bar close at 5 pm.

Beautiful natural beaches and a campground. One of the best places to catch the sunset. There's a HUGE dog-friendly park and beach. I recommend renting a kayak and exploring the small islands that make up Fort DeSoto Park.

One of the most beautiful state parks in the state is right down the street. Beautiful beaches. Kayak & bike rentals. Water taxi available to Egmont Key. Great birding and shelling!
