Whitstable is an hour and 20 minutes by train from London, with its 6 miles of varied coast, its characterful buildings, access to sea swimming , watersports and cycle path to the ancient city of Canterbury. It is perfect for a weekend break or longer holiday. With its iconic pub on the beach and many restaurants, cafes and bars, Whitstable is a foodie's dream. Its independent shops and pretty harbour make wandering around the town interesting and fun.
