This place has some of the most incredible dipping noodles (Tsukemen) in Kyoto. Thicker broth than ramen, with all the ingredients on the side to be dipped in. Arrive early to beat the line!

Ramen/Tsukemen place you better go when you are here. This tsukemen is surprisingly approachable. Just a few pieces of delicate motsu (giblets) in a heavy broth, served in an iron bowl. The noodles are made upstairs, topped with roasted as well as raw green onion. The store looks really gorgeous and real Kyoto Machiya style.

Sugari Ramen is a ramen shop focused solely on keeping to the Kyoto style where the broth is incredibly thick. Truly a unique experience for anyone who has not tried Kyoto style ramen and it is one of the best shops here in Kyoto so why not go and give it a try? Not to mention you can easily go drink afterwards so...
