For visitors looking for quirky and off the beaten track attractions, visit the ancient holy well and chapel ruins at Madron. This has been the site of celtic ceremonies for over a thousand years!

Madron well is another local ancient well which is very much worth a visit. It's a bit of a hike off the road between Madron and the North Coast. Also on the way out of Madron to the N coast there is Madron Moor, in May the rhodedendrons are really something and the views spectacular!
