Kemah is a very fun place to go. It even fun to watch the sail boats travel in and out of the channel.
If you are willing to drive about 45 minutes (30 on a good day), this is a great area for ocean-side dining, games, shopping, and rides.
Great food, shopping and lots of games and rides as well! Fun day to spend on a pier with family and friends for a good day of fun!
There are games, shops, live music (check website for lineup) events restaurants etc. Its a great place to hang out.

“"Space Center Houston is a leading science and space learning center, the official visitor center of NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston and a Smithsonian Affiliate museum." It is a great place to visit for everyone, while it is a museum with lots of information to read. They also have a great tour to see historic spaces, as well as some rockets, and the space shuttle. Even for non tech interested people its a great way to spend some hours.”
