"Sass" restaurant has local produce and seafood & is excellent. They also do good bar meals.

The Kermandie was built in 1932 to welcome weary travellers to the lower Huon and Esperance district and as a watering hole for timber, orchard and river workers. The Kermandie has been recently refurbished to provide a destination for fine dining and four star accommodation. And you can arrive by road or river.
