A bit of a drive to this spot in Stockton, but well worth it for the thoughtful, French-bistro focused menu. This small, romantic space is often hung with works from top area artists. Don't miss the quenelles poisson if they are on the menu. The blanquette de veau is another favorite. The BYO policy makes it deliciously affordable, too.
