15 min away: For me ... the Crème De La Crème of beer and outdoor fun. Wicked good beer. Amazing bands. Super friendly. Food is really good, too. Their facility is the epitome of environmentally friendly.

You already know they make great beer (even better when it's on draft at their bar) but their restaurant has amazing food! Try lots of small plates to nosh while you enjoy a brew. Wander the bottling facility or the outdoor garden for a fun evening!

3.9 miles from the cottage. Lots of great beers and ales, and good food. I hear that it's the largest and busiest restaurant in NC. There's usually a wait, but there's an upstairs bar where you can drink and often listen / dance to a live band. If you want to tour the brewery, make a reservation well in advance.
