Ex-asylum turned glorious farm to table kitchen. The high roofed space and cavernous dining area gives the restaurant a very relaxed feel with plenty of windows to let in plenty of sunlight. Well worth a trip up the beautiful Derwent Valley for lunch here - amazing food, great wine, great people. Also lots of lovely antique stores and shops to visit in the town of New Norfolk.

Rodney and Severine are lovely people and quite simply put Tasmania on the map with their cooking school 10 or more years ago: they opened this about 3 years ago and by all accounts it is fabulous. Local produce superbly well cooked.

Exceptional food, great location, local and ethically farmed produce, Tasmanian wines, award winning chef ... need I say more. Great antiques just next door too.
