If you want to make it a little bit special. You can take a boat from city centrum out to a island and eat in beautiful surroundings. The food is season based. Recommended to lunsj as well as dinner.

I regard this restaurant as the best for eating seafood (local) in Bergen. It's located on an small island, a boat from the city centre will take you there (30 min), reservation is needed. Pricey, but worth it. Jeg anser denne restauranten som den beste for å spise lokal sjømat i Bergen. Den ligger på en liten øy, en båt fra sentrum tar deg dit (30 min) og reservasjon er nødvendig. Dyrt, men verdt det.
