Lovely sandy beach backed by dunes. Limited facilities as its all about the beach here. Cart Gap, Eccles-on-Sea, Winterton, Waxham and Horsey beaches are all close by and make for a great walk either way.

An absolutely stunning beach, perfect for dog walks or as a day out with the family. Spectacular beach views are available, with the beach appearing to be endless. Wonderfully peaceful, as certainly one of the favourite beaches in the county! There's a fish and chips shop, cafe, arcade, trampolines and a small bar/restaurant. Plenty of paid parking is available.

Sea Palling beach has become a very popular destination for beach days. Its award winning beach is very safe due to the lagoons created by the man made reefs installed to limit coastal erosion. There are lifeguards and an independent inshore lifeboat based here for your safety in the summer. The beach is also popular with Jet Skiers in a segregated section. There is plenty of parking but it can become very busy in the summer. Parking is pay and display. There are a number of small shops selling beach essentials and a cafe that prepares donuts fresh to order - ask for the cinnamon sugar ;)

This is our very favourite beach resort. Around an hour's drive away, but worth it for the sandy dunes, great walks, fish and chips.

Secret Beach The perfect beach is just 25mins away and is off the beaten tourist track, private, secluded, clean Sandy beach, with sea defences creating a bay with no concerns over safety re rip tides etc, lovely shallow depth and gorgeous Sandy dunes. Head to Sea spelling ‘beach front’ at the tourist car park on the left hand side, keep going, around a mile or two down that coast road which runs parallel to the sea. Free parking is in the bays on the right hand side (if a spot is available) or alternatively to the left hand side, £3 parking all day. Selection of drinks and ice creams during holiday season. You will see a Burrito hut (RHS) and the coastal path which leads through the dunes and out to the bay, stunning. Body boards are fun to surf on the dune sand. En route to Sea palling there’s an M&S Sumply Food if you fancy picking up a nice picnic and a Starbucks for coffee on the Acle roundabout about 3miles from the cottage. Enjoy ☺️
