Take a walk/bike on the river. You will see all the locals walking , running, pushing strollers. Cute dogs. Bike riding. Miles of trails and boardwalks along the River. You can walk here from cottage. Recommend route to go out of neighborhood down Marietta Hwy to the left. Then left on Willeo. This will take you to the edge of the trail. Can go left on azalea and will see the entrance to the board walk. Probably about 1 mile from Mary’s cottage to entrance of boardwalk. There is also parking on azalea dr. Walking fishing people watching.

More than thirty miles of trails wind through the city. One of the most beautiful areas in Roswell is the City’s Old Mill Park. This park has an interpretive walk highlighting the old mill ruins of Roswell and allows visitors to get close to Vickery Creek and its dam. The Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is linked by the Vickery Creek Covered Pedestrian Bridge.
