*Open seasonally from March-October* One of our favorite fun local spots for a hamburger or hot dog! Their Storms (think DQ Blizzard) are amazing - our favorites are The Beauty and The Pineapple Upside Down Cake. Outdoor seating is available, however in the warmer months this place gets pretty busy and a table can be hard to find. Just across the dam is a park with plenty of picnic tables.

Co-located by Lakeside Outfitters at Summersville Dam on Rt. 129. Grab an ice cream, hot dog, T-shirt and kayak or paddle board rental. A one-stop shop. Fat Eddie's is a local favorite since 1999 and before that a DQ. This is a must go-to before or after the lake. I'm partial to root beer floats, the Elvis and broccoli bites/fried mushrooms.

Great Ice Cream shop. They also have pretty good hot dogs. Just be warned, there is usually a line, but I think it is worth the wait.

Some great local ice cream very close to Summersville Dam. It can get busy, but it's worth the wait!
