A few miles along the coast, at Catterline, is The Creel Inn. A must for special occasion. Delicious food, in a quaint and cosy Inn. Taxi from Square in Stonehaven, if you would like a wee glass of wine ...or two!

Good beer and local seafood. There is a rustic bar or more formal restaurant. A good place to go after a walk along the cliffs at the nearby Fowlsheugh Nature Reserve. Artist Joan Eardley used to live in the village and there are some of her paintings in the Inn.
