Shade is a casual bar and eatery at the Higgins Beach Inn in Scarborough. The Inn and its restaurant are open from mid-May until mid-October. Wet-suited surfers ride the waves at nearby Higgins Beach throughout the year. Breakfast and dinner are served both indoors and on a large open-air porch at this 100-year-old inn. Parking is plentiful and free if you're eating at Shade.
