This old train bridge converted to a walking bridge gives a great view of downtown. Excellent for bikes or walking.

A trip to Fredericton would not be complete without a walk across the Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge, formerly known as the Fredericton Railway Bridge, it is now strictly pedestrian traffic,and is aka the Worlds Longest Walking Bride. The view from the bridge is spectacular over the Saint John River and the shores of Fredericton. You can bike or walk across this beautiful part of the city approx .75 miles one way and connects to the city's walking trails.
