At only 30 min drive from Platja d'Aro, this permanent exhibition captures the importance that ceramic manufacture has had and still has in the history and today of La Bisbal, the great variety of pieces that have been produced and the great quality of the Bisbal master ceramists. Ticket use to be at around 5 Euros but you can buy a combined ticket for just 1 Euro more and visit the castle of La Bisbal, located in the center town , is the former episcopal palace residence of the bishops of Gerona, who were lords of the city. It is an extraordinary example of civil architecture from the Middle Ages. My Tip: Take the opportunity to buy some wonderfull ceramics from La Bisbal as souvenirs but also for your daily use, you will find over 30 shops in the city center, Main Street called “carrer Aigüeta” after the bridge (river is mostly dried)
