Towards the end of the west side of the island is the closest you'll get to the sunset. Yokohama Bay is known for its fabulous sands and even a hike at the end!

Yokohama Bay receives the same swell as the north shore. The surf here is great during the winter. Be careful in the water here. Enjoy watching the surfers that are brave enough to surf this area anytime of the year. Enjoy the sandy beach as well, bring a snack and drink to enjoy.

My favorite beach in Oahu. Beautiful place to just sit and watch sunset or watch brave surfers surf. Not good for swimming unless you are a great swimmer.
