The Philadelphia Museum of Art is one of the largest art museums in the United States. We have world-class collections, exhibitions, programs...and some pretty well-known steps.
Ya gotta run the steps! Sit on top of the steps to watch the sunset or rise over the city! Probably my favorite thing to do!
Run the steps just like Rocky (after getting a picture with his statue of course). Also just a great museum.
Climb the “Rocky” steps and soak in one of the iconic views of Philadelphia from the top! Oh, and the museum is wonderful too!
The museum houses more than 240,000 objects, highlighting the creative achievements of the Western world and those of Asia, in more than 200 galleries spanning 2,000 years
The Rocky Steps... and tons of gorgeous art and views! Free on Wednesday!
Beautiful art exhibits, but also very nice to walk around the outside. Fairmount Park and the Schuylkill river trail surround this magnificent building.

“Everyone knows the Philadelphia art museum, but near that. Barnes Foundation is not a well-known museum while it is really worth to visit. Albert C. Barnes, the founder of the Barnes Foundation, is one of the world's greatest collections of impressionist, post-Impressionist and early modernist paintings, especially in Renoir, Cezanne, Matisse, and Picasso. You would have a totally different experience than other museums. $25 for adults, $5 for students. ”

“An interactive science museum, the Franklin Institute would be a great place to bring the kids. Also fun for adults looking to learn a few things and play around with the science displays. Definitely check out which traveling exhibit is showing at the time.”
