On any given morning, you’ll find all the cool Eastside kids lining up here with their parents for some of the best croissants and pastries in the city. Proof has a French bakery vibe, with marble and wood—and it’s tiny. But we take our pastries (and really good coffee) to go and wander around Atwater Village, Silver Lake, or Los Feliz. There’s always a line, even right when it opens at 8. Life with children is all about avoiding lines, but this one goes pretty fast, usually just 5 to 7 minutes if you come before right when it opens.

This is an L.A institution, they claim to have the best croissants in town (so crunchy and buttery) and the scones are to die for, really good coffee as well. It will be easy to spot, there is always a line outside!

People travel far and wide for this coffee! Everything they make is delicious from sandwiches to any baked goods. Cappuccino is excellent. be prepared to wait in line.

Proof may be one of the best bakeries in the city. The Sandwiches are amazing and often a line forms before they even start serving them - which is at noon.
