Osaka Castle Park opened in 1931 and covers an area of 106.7 hectare. Osaka Castle Park is colorfully embellished. You can see about 600 cherry trees, including someiyoshino in Nishinomaru Garden. About 95 kinds of Japanese apricot flowers,1250 trees in total bloom in Ume Grove, and in Omoide-no-mori (Grove of Remembrance), you can enjoy beautiful autumn colored leaves. The scenery, which changes from season to season, attracts many visitors throughout the year. The park is around Osaka castle and has many spots you can enjoy such as a cafe and shrine. Also in spring you can see a lot of cherry blossoms there.

Osaka castle was built as a display of power by Toyotomi Hideyoshi after he achived his unifying Japan. It takes 3years by 100,000 workers. It was destroyed in 1615 and built as replica.
