NZ's oldest riverside tavern (160 years old). Fully refurbished in 2010. Restaurant, Bar and outdoor eating area. Very family friendly (restaurant dinner starts at 6pm). Beautiful views of the river and boat pier.

The Riverhead Pub is gorgeous. It is the oldest pub in NZ and sits on a river. You can sit and have lunch or dinner out on the balcony with pretty views of the river or dine inside if you prefer. Child friendly. There is a main restaurant area or if you are after just a drink, there is a public bar also.

The Riverhead Tavern is an iconic New Zealand pub/ restaurant - catering to the casual diner or a formal dinner with friends and family. Lots of outside seating options and just a nice place for a drink and a game of pool also. Family & Dog friendly!
