The best place to try pintxos What is the difference between tapas and pintxos? A tapa is normally just a smaller sized portion of a main dish, served in a plate, which you eat with cutlery. The pincho is normally served on a piece of bread or other, served usually with a cocktail stick which you can eat in one or two bites

Basque pintxos. Next to the City Hall Square. Very central location. I recommend it for having some "pinchos" standing, and not for having a proper lunch or dinner. You pick out your own pinchos and save the toothpicks and at the end of the meal the waiters count them and charge you for each one. If you're not careful, it can be quite overpriced. But the location, ambiance and the quality of food worth it.
