Discovery Park is about 1hr drive from Jackson, TN. Well worth the drive and very family friendly drive. Look up Discovery park online to see traveling exhibits, etc. Also, you will be close to Reelfoot lake. Reelfoot lake is a unique area that was created by the one of the largest earthquakes every recorded... the Mississippi flowed backwards for a couple days to fill the void. Tons of bald eagles, lake kayaking, eateries, etc.
