Wine and beer is not sold in supermarkets. It can be bought in liquor stores "Vínbúð". You can find one about 5 minutes driving. Opening hours 10:00-18:00, closed one Sundays.

In Iceland you can not buy alcoholic drinks in the every day grocery shop. You have to go to the governmentally run store, this is the one closest to our flat.
