The Reef Marina is where all the trips to the Great Barrier Reef leave from. A lot of the fishing and river cruises also leave from here. On Wednesdays there is a sunset market which is worth a look!

There is a Wednesday evening market. Restaurants & bars are Barbados, Hemmingways Brewery, Choo Choos Restaurant & Lure Restaurant all overlooking the marina. This is where all the boating tour operators located...

The marina is home to all the reef boats Port Douglas has to offer, as well as fantastic eating and drinking locations. These include Barbados Cocktail bar, Hemingway’s Brewery and Lurè Bar and Restaurant, all of which provide great locations for watching the sunset, eating dinner or just enjoying an afternoon drink. (Mentioned in order of price - high to low). There is also Choo Choo’s café which is great for breakfast and is located in the station for the Bally Hooley, a local steam train which does joyrides around town.
