The first lines of Treasure Island were penned here. Exciting for kids, and some friends I know used to do brunch here occasionally. Not the gem it once was, but still a staple in the Savannah scene.

The Pirates' House has a long history in Savannah as the oldest existing building in the city. It's said to be haunted and is even mentioned in the book Treasure Island. We had to check it out. We didn't get a chance to see the resident ghosts, but maybe you will! The staff was great and the food was amazing. I highly recommend the Georgian Salmon dish, Honey Pecan Fried Chicken, The Savannah Crab Dip and the Fried Green Tomato Salad. There wasn't an item that I tasted that I did not enjoy!
