For the museum seekers, or maybe for others on a rainy (or other bad weather) day, this place is very interesting. It hosts traveling exhibits that it changes out a few times a year.

This museum, though small, gives the Smithsonian a run for their money in quality. Utah has some of the best dinosaur bone collections and excavation sites in the country and this shows in their amazing dinosaur exhibit. The other excellent collections include a nuanced and thorough look at Utah’s Native Peoples history and the geological interest of the salt lake valley (did you know this whole thing and beyond was a giant freshwater lake at one time?!).
